Revolution Square is the heart of historic part of the city which is called Stariy Gorod(old town). In the center of the square a monument to Lenin is situated. Before Russian Revolution of 1917 a monument to Tsar Alexander the II was situated there. It’s interesting if young Lenin walking along the square sus-
pected that Nikolay would be replaced by his person on this pedestal.
