This is a part of ancient wall that round the town. It’s not real, it was reconstructed to celebrate the 400 anniversary of Samara. But the real wall, a fragment of the wall to be exact, had been on this very place until the middle of twentieth century. Four hundred years ago, right from such tower first Samara citizens defended the settlement against wild eastern tribes.
